  • Lots of miracles were being done after Jesus rose from the dead. Who was doing them?
  • Can we write the Bible like the Apostles did?
  • How did the Apostles get out of jail? What did the angel tell them to do?
  • What did the rulers tell the Apostles to stop doing?
  • What people have the Holy Spirit living in them?
  • What does the Holy Spirit make you want to do?
  • Did the Apostles listen to the rulers who told them to stop teaching about Jesus? Why?
  • Why were the Apostles so happy at the end of the story?
  • How does this text show the uniqueness of the Apostles?
  • Why should we not modify the message at all to appease or draw in those who hate God?
  • Luke points out a number of motivations behind the actions of the rulers. What are they and what can we learn from this?
  • What does this short account tell us about the calendar of the local church in the days of the Apostles?
