  1. What amazing things happened at Pentecost?
  2. What amazing things did Jesus do to prove He was the Saviour?
  3. Can you list young and old men, and young and old women who prophesied and had a miraculous visit in the New Testament? Think of before Christ was born.
  4. When in the life of Jesus did the sky show the anger of God?
  5. What is the problem with assuming Joel was promising that all Christians would prophesy and see dreams and visions?
  6. Why is it important to distinguish between the promise which a miracle in the Bible points to and the miracle itself?
  7. What is the promise which is proved in Pentecost?
  8. Verses 20 and 21 form a warning and rescue pair. How should this be a warning? How should this be a comfort?
  9. Could a person go to hell if they were a member of the Old Covenant? Can a person go to hell if they are a member of the New Covenant?
  10. What is the importance of Joel saying that all who call on the Name of the LORD will be saved instead of simply saying those who call on God will be saved?
