  1. Jesus’ sacrifice offers us eternal cleansing from sin to grant us perfect access to the Father.

  2. We delight in his sacrifice even by following him in suffering.

  3. We who celebrate Jesus’ perfect sacrifice offer new sacrifices of praise and obedience.

  2. Why was it important that Jesus died outside the walls of Jerusalem?

  3. What is the hope that Christians have even if they suffer in this world?

  4. What sacrifices does God still want from us even though Jesus has paid for all our sins?

  1. What was the purpose of the day of atonement?

  2. Why do even the priests have no right to come to the altar to which we come?

  3. Why was the sacrifice of atonement burned outside the camp?

  4. What does it mean for us to join Jesus outside the camp?

  5. In what ways is Jesus’ atonement more effectual for us than the sacrifices of atonement offered at the temple?

  6. Why would a Christian be willing to offer everything they have sacrificially to God?
