His Reign: Ever-increasing Enjoyment of God's Character

The Birth of the Child, the Giving of the Son, will be a sign that God is bringing, THROUGH the Son, the fullness of His reign. This Son, who is God in flesh, will reign forever. He will reign in perfect uncontested sovereignty so there will be perfect peace. Because of His reign there will be perfect justice and righteousness. His reign will be the full realization of God's faithfulness to His promises and His people. For those who trust in Him, the reign of the Son born at Christmas will be an ever-increasing enjoyment of God's character: His justice, His righteousness, His power, His peace, and His covenant (faithful + forever) love.
