  3. We praise Him because we remember what He has done for His people
  4. We praise Him because He is to be feared
  5. We praise Him for the joy of His steadfast love

Family Discussion Questions:

  1. What does the writing of songs in Scripture tell us about how important singing is to the people of God?
  2. The people of God are a people of song. Why does that make sense given our relationship to the Lord?
  3. What does it mean to be someone who seeks the Lord? What would be another way to say this? In what ways does that come easier for you? Harder?
  4. The focus of remembering in song are those things which God has done which He had promised to do. Why would that be? 
  5. Why would the fearfulness of God be something we can sing about with joy?
  6. How is calling on God for salvation actually an act of worship?
