Family Discussion Questions:

  1. Can the Gospel be known just by observing and studying creation?
  2. Though God can do anything He pleases, what is the beauty of Him promising to use certain things?
  3. In what ways is the church similar to the Old Testament Temple?
  4. What are the things which God has promised to ordinarily use to create and sustain Gospel faith?
  5. Why would we say these are earthy? 
  6. We are to worship God in spirit and in truth, but not just in spirit. Do you agree with this statement?
  7. How does church discipline actually simply insisting on the other two "marks" of a real church?
  8. The "marks of a church" are essentially the same as the "ordinary means of grace" (the things God uses to work faith and salvation). What does this say about the Lord's commitment to the faith of His bride?
