1. Keep Your eyes on who you are in Jesus.

2. Keep your eyes on who Jesus is.

         a. As our apostle and high priest        

         b. As the ruler over all God’s house

3. If you keep your eyes on Jesus, you are a part of His house.  

Family Discussion Questions

Younger and Older:  

What does God want us to remember when we feel like our faith is being tested? 

Why are we able to call each-other holy brothers and sisters? 

What is a mediator? Who in the Bible had this special job of being a mediator of a covenant between God and His people? 

What does it mean to be God’s household? 

Deep Discussion: 

When we take our eyes off of Jesus, what does it mean we are putting our eyes on? 

How do Jesus’ roles of apostle and high priest rest on the gospel? 

What set Moses apart from the other prophets in such a way that it was more glorious to declare Jesus was greater than Moses than to declare He was greater than the prophets? 

What relationship does Jesus have to his house? What relationship does the Father have to it?

What reasons for being ashamed of the gospel might be common in your context?  

What gifts that God has given you to build up your confidence in the gospel would you like to grow more in your love of and use of? (Bible reading, prayer, being at church worshipping, being in the Word with other believers)
