A Gospel Bejewelled with Designed Diversity, Sacrificial Love, and Self-Denying Commitment
God has designed the church to be His dear family and has designed the family to reflect the dearness of His relationship with the people redeemed by His Son’s blood. On many questions God has been silent, encouraging creativity and diversity among families and churches. However, where God has spoken, where He has given instruction, we do well to follow His design which refuses to flatten diversity and love. Instead, His design magnifies the diversity and love and self-denying commitment which is embedded in the Good News of how Jesus redeems and holds onto the dear people whose place of judgement He took on the cross.
